WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

On this website you will find roughly 1,600 photos of 340 species of birds of North America.

These represent some of my best North American bird images, but I have thousands more in my library. Because I have been involved in bird conservation through National Audubon with the Advisory Board of what is now Audubon Upper Mississippi River for many years and derive no income from my photography, I share my images freely with nonprofit conservation and education organizations, etc., who may have a very low, or no, budget for imagery. I believe that seeing birds up close with all their detail can inspire greater interest in all the species and speak to a need for their conservation.
